In July of this summer I was part of the crew for a feature length film titled Faith, Love and Chocolate. I was second assistant camera and camera operator for the film. It was a very interesting experience and I learned a lot about the film making process. It was fun being on the film set and building relationships with everyone. We used the Canon C500 with mostly prime lenses and recorded in 4K with the Odyssey external recorder. It was a really great experience to learn some of the technical aspects of film making and to familiarize myself with all the equipment. I also learned a lot about what not to do on a film set from watching people and how their behaviors affected others. It was a big learning experience for me and I’m glad I got the chance to work on this film!
